Introduction
Incorporated in the year 1993, commencing its Publishing activities with the compilation
of few Question Papers of CA Examinations to create a Question Bank for CA Students,
and publishing the same, Shuchita Prakashan (P) Ltd has come a long way to become

Bank christened Scanner and Text Books now cater to the needs of Students of
Professional Examination conducted by:

Our Story
As early as in the year 1989 Dr Arun Kumar; (Director, Shuchita Prakashan (P) Ltd) used
to struggle with few of his friends and students for helping them to prepare for the
examinations of the most prestigious professional course of the country “Chartered
Accountancy”. They discovered a systematic method for the students to prepare for the
examination. The method was:-
1. Read and understand one topic
2. Find the questions related to that topic asked in the previous examination
3. Solve those Questions
Now the challenge was how to get such questions in one place. Dr. Kumar prepared
Scanners with the help of his friends and approached various publishers; but none of
them agreed to publish the book.
Then Dr. Kumar started publishing the book himself. Thus the great journey began. The
first Scanner was in a crude form a fully cyclostyled book published in 1991. From that
day onwards, we, at Shuchita Prakashan are helping you, with your help.
Purpose
To publish solved and unsolved Question Bank and text books of professional courses of
CA, CS and CWA with aim of providing study material to the aspirants for easy
preparation for the examination.
And also to provide them, tips for better scoring, ability test and health tips, latest exam
trends and updates; and a common medium to express themselves through their articles
and to share their news and views, through our monthly Journal Shuchita Times.

Shuchita Prakashan (P) Ltd started its publishing activities from 1st February 1993, by
taking over from Shuchita Prakashan with existed assets and liabilities. The Company
continued with publishing and marketing its inherent book called ‘Scanner’ which are
chapter- wise arranged unsolved question papers of professional examinations like CA,
CS and CWA with net answers.
The Company launched a monthly magazine named Civil Service Scanner for the
aspirants of Civil Services and other similar examinations. This publication was stopped
for lack of better infrastructure for marketing and distribution.
The Company concentrated on its original product Scanner and brought about a
revolutionary improvement in the marketing tactics.
In the later years the Company started publishing text books on different subjects related
to CA, CS and CWA; a monthly journal Shuchita Times for keeping the students,
teachers and authors in pace with the changing trends; a journal Channel Partners solely
for the Book Sellers; Question updates ‘Appendix’ and a journal Shuchita Samvad for
internal circulation.

For Students:
The Company provides free updating coupons/letters with every Scanner for students by
which they can avail free supplementary question papers of the preceding examination.
The feedbacks received on these Business Reply Cards / letters are processed in database
and are scrutinized and segregated in to ‘requirements, ‘complaints’ and ‘appreciation’.
Each comment is well studied and corrective actions are followed. Students also receives
